Denim lOvE
Denim. Let's talk about it shall we? Ahh, the fabric blind to the socio-economic status. It's durable. It looks good. It requires little prep for wear. Simple & solid. Denim doesn't care about your tax bracket. It can be found on the homeless, the stay-at-home-mom, the runway models, the farmer and even the President of the United States. Denim don't care who you are. It just holds up. God did a mighty work when he made this fabric. The world would be a lot better place if we were all a little more like denim.
Just yesterday I purchased a denim shorts romper and a pair of Guess brand denim pumps from Goodwill. Move over Beyonce. I don't think your ready for Meghan's jello jelly. Um,no. And recently I received a little denim love on Instagram and Twitter from the peeps over at Jordache. It seems they were pro my efforts to detail the vintage look of Jordache then and the current denim of Jordache now. A little pressy pom-poms in the air were waved. I'm not gonna lie. I wear sweats and my hair in a knot 5 out of the 7 days of the week. I homeschool and shop at Goodwill. Um, yeah. That felt nice. Thank you, Jordache.
So, it's Friday. I love to pretend. I love fashion. I love huge diamond earrings for Valentine's Day, Kenny. I love to look forward to the weekend. Let's play a game! If you'll remember I did a little post like this before. It was tons of fun. So play today. You will like it. {Do you feel cornered by the swing sets on the playground by the 2nd grade bully, Stephanie, demanding that you play freeze tag with the boys when you don't really want to?} That's the kinda peer pressure I was after here. {Don't mess with Stephanie. She will get you. To all my elementary school friends reading this post, there were 2 Stephanies that were bullies, remember? Either will suffice here.}
